SIM card blocked

If you have blocked your SIM card by mistake, it is possible to reactivate it using a specific code, the PUK code.

PIN code

To protect your personal information on your phone, you are asked for a 4-digit code (or 6 digits on iPhone now) each time you start: this is the PIN code.
This code linked to your SIM card ensures the security of your data by automatically blocking the card after three incorrect attempts.
However, sometimes you forget this code or make a mistake three times, which results in the SIM card being locked.

PUK code

To unlock your SIM card, it is necessary to enter your PUK code.
This unlocking code, consisting of 8 digits, is generally indicated on the back of the SIM card holder or on the document provided at the time of purchase.
If you can no longer find this information, simply contact your operator who will provide you with the PUK code free of charge.

After entering your PUK code and unlocking your SIM card, you will be asked to set a new PIN code.
